The Heritage Resources Committee’s desire to preserve the character of this original entranceway street to Historic Downtown Medicine Hat began the exploration of designating it as Municipal Historic Area. With help and learning’s from Alberta Culture, and working with Transportation, a Bylaw to designate the street (public realm portion) was achieved.
