Although physically evident in Downtown Moose Jaw, the opportunity existed in conjunction with the Moose Jaw Downtown Local Area Plan to better establish policy, heritage process guidance and design guidelines to reinforce the value of Main Street and heritage buildings and cultural landscapes within the Downtown. The Heritage Strategy was developed through the Charrette process in consultation with the Heritage Advisory Committee, municipal staff and broader community.
